Ibrahim Hussain Zaki
Special Envoy of the President of Maldives

Ibrahim Hussain Zaki is a politician of the Maldives and also a special envoy of the President of Maldives. Zaki is a former Cabinet Minister of the Maldives government. He also served as the Secretary General of the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC). During his tenure as Deputy Foreign Minister and Foreign Secretary, Zaki was very closely involved with the development of regional co-operation in South Asia from the inception of the idea in 1980. He spearheaded the participation of the Maldives at the working level in the emerging process of regional co-operation that led to the formation of SAARC. Ibrahim Hussain Zaki sat down with PIO TV Managing Editor Munish Gupta to discuss the monumental changes of Maldives and the future plans of the country.  He expected good cooperation from India and also invited the global investors.
