U/A for THE JUNGLE BOOK |
India`s Censor Board has given a U/A certificate to Rudyard Kipling`s much loved book and now film `Jungle Book` for the movie`s 3D graphics and sound effects being too "scary" for young children. U/A certification suggests parental guidance is required before children are allowed to see the film. Movie buffs wonder at the Censor`s decision as the film has received a universal rating in the United States. The film released on April 8. However, Censor chief Pahlaj Nihalani calls it a warning to parents to decide if it is appropriate for small children to watch. After all, the animals seem to leap out from screen and the sound effects can be scary.
