Retail inflation rises to 5.4% |
Retail inflation in India inched up
for the third consecutive month in February due to firm food prices but
remained below the RBI`s comfort level, while industrial output growth gathered
pace in January on the back of an improving capital goods sector. Data released
by the Central Statistics Office on March 12 showed retail inflation rose 5.4%
in February, faster than January`s 5.2%.
