PM to attack all benami properties |
A day after Prime Minister Narendra Modi warned of more stringent measures against blackmoney towards end of December, Modi on November 13 said his government will carry forward the fight against all the Benami property holders in the country. While addressing an event in Goa, Modi said “Jiske paas bhi benaami sampatti hai hum us par hamla bolne waale hain (We are going to attack all having black money),” he said. Modi was in Goa to lay the foundation stone for Greenfield Airport at Mopa plateau. He said the forces are up against him, they may not let him live, they may ruin him because their loot of 70 years is in trouble, but he is prepared for it. He added if he committed any mistake,he is ready to face any punishment the country will give him. But he promised to deliver corruption-free India. He carried out a secret operation, demonetisation; it was 10 months of work involving printing new notes and announced it on Nov 8.
