Pravasi Bharatiya Divas is India`s flagship event to connect with the diaspora. Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi and President of India Pranab Mukherjee will address on Jan 8 and 9th. PIOCCI aims to explore new dimensions on showcasing and building conomicpartnerships between India and the Diaspora. It has a strong base of entrepreneurs, leaders and NGOs that enjoy a rich and vast network in India and overseas. PIOCCI will focus on networking business organisations and individuals to make them part of India`s fast-paced growth and development across sectors. PIOCCI will create digital platforms and conferences to catalyze regular interactions with the diaspora in more than 150 countries. PIOCCI Conclave was held on the eve of PBD 2017 in Bengaluru on 6 January 2017. More than 250 delegates from 35 countries attended. Karnataka Ministers R V Deshpande and M Krishnappa and MEA Overseas Indian Affairs Secretary Ambassador R Mulay congratulated PIOCCI for promoting the business partnership between the Diaspora and India. PIOCCI Patrons and mentors Shyam Parande and Raj Kumar Bhatia said the Chamber had soared to unprecedented activity and growth levels in last two years.
