Modi meets success in Germany |
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi`s visit to Germany is being hailed as a huge success. CEOs of giant German engineering companies and German Chancellor Angela Merkel loved the event that showcased the cultural diversity of Indian states at the world`s biggest industrial fair in Hanover. Modi was welcomed with thunderous claps and cheers. Modi made a fervent pitch for India, saying he would accelerate economic growth and provide jobs to youth. Modi said his contingent had 14 states, 120 CEOs and 320 companies from India participating in the fair, Hanover Messe, underscoring the significance India is giving to business with Germany. Modi touted his famous `Make in India` pitch as a new national movement that covers society and business. He ensured that the foreigners knew that India wuld be a lucrative and ready destination to invest if they were ready to believe in the new India! Modi invited Merkel to visit Maharashtra, which has a large number of German businesses flourishing. They visited the `Magnetic Maharashtra` stall inside the magnificent India Pavilion at the Hannover Messe 2015 global trade fair.
