Foreigner Sikhs at Golden Temple |
It was a dream come true for a group of 45 baptized Sikh foreign nationals who landed at Sri Guru Ramdas International Airport in Amritsar on December 27 to pay obeisance at the revered Sikh shrine Golden Temple.The group arrived in Amritsar to participate in the 350th birth anniversary celebrations of the Sikhism`s 10th master, Guru Gobind Singh, at Patna. Their pilgrimage has been named Degh Tegh Fateh Yatra. Bahadur Singh, an organizer of the pilgrimage, said this was a maiden visit to Golden Temple for a majority of group members.
