Clichés in THE VIRAL FEVER |
The latest creation of online entertainment network “The Viral Fever” is a hilarious spoof taking a satirical look at some of the most famous Bollywood clichés used over the years. One that merits special mention is how love at first sight happens after the hero andheroine bump into each other at college and the hero helps the heroine pick up the scattered books. Actor-singer Ayushman Khurana stars as Dr. Rahul Raj Clichewala in this new comic video, which opens with a warning to save the clichés, as there are only 1,411 of them left, and goes on to describe how in the race of making good films, Indian film directors have left behind these tried and tested scenes. The sketch takes the form of an interview where afilm journalist quizzes the film expert, named Clichewala, who has authored a research paper on hero-heroine collision and book falling, and who explains the science behind every Bollywood cliché.Clichewala also explains the symbolism behind the scene. “When you are love you can’t concentrate on studies and thus the books have to fall down,” he says.
