The CBI is considering opening a one-stop call centre where people can report corruption from across India. The CBI was mulling introducing a single number through which corruption complaints relating to any organisation of the Centre or state can be reported to a 24x7 call centre. Leaving aside those that fall under its purview, the CBI added, the complaints will be forwarded to the concerned agencies in states. The CBI will, however, keep track of the status of complaints. The first session of the conference would discuss the modalities of having a `National Anti-Corruption Citizen Support Centre`, which would be... receiving complaints from social media, e-mail, etc, according to CBI spokesperson Devpreet Singh.
