Capital on high alert |
Delhi has been put on high alert after intelligence agencies received inputs indicating that banned terrorist group Jaish-e-Mohammad may attempt a suicide attack in the capital. The inputs suggest that some fidayeens have entered the country through Jammu and Kashmir. The alert comes after a note was found from two militants killed in an encounter with security forces in the Samba district of Jammu and Kashmir on March 20. The note purportedly read quote `We will meet in Delhi next`. Security has been stepped up at the army bases in southwest Delhi and the police lines in the Kingsway Camp area among other places.
