Bamboo design in Australia |
A renowned Indian-origin architect unveiled design of Australia`s largest bamboo structure which will be used for festival processions in Melbourne. The 12-metre-high tower designed by Bijoy Jain in Melbourne city`s Queen Victoria Gardens, will reflect a connection between "earth, sky and the shared gravity". Jain said that MPavilion 2016 structure would use basic elements like bamboo, earth, stone and rope. The pavilion is in itself a gesture reflecting this internationally recognised architects` interest in the connection between earth, sky and the shared gravity that connects all humans."
