AAP troubles increasing |
Aam Admi Party (AAP) troubles are only mounting. Now, dismissed AAP Lokpal Admiral L Ramdas (Retd) has questioned his sacking saying his term did not end in November 2013 as claimed by AAP leaders. Ramdas said he was stunned, bemused and befuddled by AAP`s decision when his term was to actually finish in November 2016. He pointed out that he had functioned as the party`s internal ombudsman during Delhi Assembly polls. Ramdas has written to party general secretary Pankaj Gupta about an investigation Ramdas carried out into various complaints, an exercise which included examining Arvind Kejriwal and other members of the national executive. Ramdas said the party had consulted him and forwarded queries as late as March 25 — just four days before his sacking. Meanwhile, the only woman in AAP 18-member national executive, Christina Samy resigned on April 1 saying the Party had lost trust in its own founding principles and betrayed volunteers. Samy is AAP Tamil Nadu convener and had voted in favor of Yogendra Yadav and Prashant Bhushan at the March 24 meet.
