Delhi develops heritage sites |
Delhi`s three world heritage sites—Humayun`s Tomb, Red Fort and QutubMinar—will be further developed as `model heritage sites`. These willbe part of 25 monuments chosen for the scheme that aims to equip themwith everything from Wi-Fi to interpretation centers, just likeabroad. The decision was announced by culture minister Mahesh Sharmawhile inaugurating e-ticketing facilities and a helpline for visitorsto Taj Mahal and Humayun`s Tomb. Each monument will have wheelchairaccess, proper signage, drinking water, CCTVs, etc.
