For some reason, Bollywood faces a flurry of cases wherein the subject of a film and elements are faulted by groups who wish to stop the film`s making and/or its screening. The Indian Medical Association wants some scenes deleted in the already released Akshay Kumar starrer `Gabbar`. The association claims to represent over 250, 000 doctors and objects to certain sequences of a doctor treating a patient who is dead. The association further says that the role played by Akshay is illegal and unethical. So, either the particular scene should be deleted or the movie be banned. Then, some Sikh organizations said certain films could create disharmony among different sections of society. Also, India`s intelligence agencies are opposed to the making or screening of some films in the public interest. Such movies are based on the Operation Blue Star in Amritsar temple and anti-Sikh riots of 1984 and reports said the movies were being produced by pro-Sikh elements in Canada and Australia. The movies are `Zinda and Sukkha` and `The Blood Street`.
